THE PRACTICE

About Recover PT

Welcome to Recover Physical Therapy, where the focus is to Recover your health and strength so that you can live your life without restrictions or pain.

We are a locally owned practice founded with the recognition of the need for a superior approach and additional resources in physical therapy that were not previously available to the Magic Valley. Our purpose is to improve the freedom and happiness of the clients we serve.

At Recover PT, we do things very differently than what you will find elsewhere. Every session will be focused, one-on-one care with a highly skilled clinician.  You won't find your therapist trying to juggle more than one patient at a time, and your care will never be delegated to unlicensed aides.

You will find the clinic uniquely equipped with all the same resources used for treating professional athletes. We are the only clinic in town offering these innovative rehab tools like on-site aquatic therapy, the Neubie machine, and the Alter-G Anti-Gravity treadmill.  These tools can safely allow you to strengthen your muscles and exercise after an injury or surgery, and will provide you with a much faster recovery and quicker return to normal activity.

Blaine is the founder and owner of Recover Physical therapy. After working for others for 8 years he decided to establish his own practice where he could have freedom to offer his patients a more holistic, custom, and personalized approach to physical therapy.

Blaine is a Southern Idaho native; he grew up in Oakley where he was very active in sports throughout the year and spent his summers working in agriculture and construction.  After high school he spent a two-year Church mission in Chile. He is fluent in Spanish.

He earned his degree in Exercise Science from BYU in 2009, and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University in 2012.  In 2018 He further advanced his skills and earned certification as an orthopedic manual therapist (COMT).  Upon opening the practice he brought several unique rehab tools to the clinic, including Neubie electrical stimulation, an Anti-Gravity treadmill system, and onsite aquatic therapy. He coordinates with nutrition therapy practitioners that enable patients to achieve a higher degree of health and wellness in combination with excellent physical therapy.

Blaine has a unique ability to truly listen to his patients, and understands how distressing pain and physical impairments can be.  He has gone above and beyond industry standards to research physical therapy literature and continue his education and skills. Outside of work he can often be found with his wife and 5 children. Together they love biking, skiing, hiking, church service, and getting involved in our great community.

Tanisha Jones, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

College of Southern Idaho

Twin Falls, Idaho

Tanisha was born and raised right here in the Magic Valley.  Growing up she participated in Cross Country, the Dance Team, and showed dairy cows in the local 4-H program. Right after
high school she attended the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) where she earned her Liberal Arts Degree. During her time

there, she danced on the Golden Girls Dance Team where she performed at all the basketball games, school events, and even competed at the national level.
Motivated by her interests in exercise, movement, and the human body, after a few
years she went back to CSI to obtain her Physical Therapist Assistant Degree. She cares for her patients and wants to help them return to what they love doing most.
Outside of the clinic, Tanisha can be found at the pickleball courts with her husband.
She enjoys the outdoors and loves ATV riding, kayaking and camping. She also loves spending time with her family, playing games, and watching movies while cuddling her dog.
