Blaine is the founder and owner of Recover Physical therapy. After working for others for 8 years he decided to establish his own practice where he could have freedom to offer his patients a more holistic, custom, and personalized approach to physical therapy.
Blaine is a Southern Idaho native; he grew up in Oakley where he was very active in sports throughout the year and spent his summers working in agriculture and construction. After high school he spent a two-year Church mission in Chile. He is fluent in Spanish.
He earned his degree in Exercise Science from BYU in 2009, and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University in 2012. In 2018 He further advanced his skills and earned certification as an orthopedic manual therapist (COMT). Upon opening the practice he brought several unique rehab tools to the clinic, including Neubie electrical stimulation, an Anti-Gravity treadmill system, and onsite aquatic therapy. He coordinates with nutrition therapy practitioners that enable patients to achieve a higher degree of wellness in combination with excellent physical therapy.
Blaine has a unique ability to truly listen to his patients, and understands how distressing pain and physical impairments can be. He has gone above and beyond industry standards to research physical therapy literature and continue his education and skills. Outside of work he can often be found with his wife and 5 children. Together they love biking, skiing, hiking, church service, and getting involved in our great community.
About Recover PT
Welcome to Recover Physical Therapy, where the focus is to recover your health and strength so that you can live your life without restrictions or pain.
We are a locally owned family practice founded in 2020 with a recognition of the need for a more holistic approach to physical therapy, addressing all systems of the human body that may be contributors to your pain or dysfunction. This comprehensive approach, combined with skill and compassion, has proven an effective intervention and can prevent the need for invasive procedures, surgeries, and medications with all their undesirable side effects.
At Recover PT, you will be treated by one of the only certified orthopedic manual therapists in the state of Idaho. We invest heavily in the most advanced and evidence-based rehab technology that allows us to more quickly pinpoint and treat the source of your pain. If you are struggling to move normally and losing your strength because of pain, we can provide options to exercise and strengthen in a pain-free zone. We are proud to be the first NeuFit provider in Idaho, cutting edge technology used by professional athletes that can optimize function of the nervous and muscular systems and contribute to a faster and more complete recovery.
